Kingston Springs is a small, wooded town on the Harpeth River where lots are steep, trees are tall and views are the point. We build custom homes designed for the hillside — walk-outs, engineered foundations, decks that step down the grade — and add porches, decks and outdoor rooms to the homes already there.
In the town center we renovate older homes and cottages. Kingston Springs is about twenty-five minutes from Nashville on I-40 and well inside our service area.

The work
What we bring to Kingston Springs
“The workers were very efficient and thorough. We plan to use Southern Belle Construction again.”
Does Southern Belle Construction work in Kingston Springs?
Yes, and in Kingston Springs, 24 miles from downtown Nashville off I-40, the steep, wooded lots along the Harpeth River shape most of the work: hillside custom homes, decks, screened porches and retaining walls, plus renovations of older cottages in town. The first visit won’t cost you anything.
What kind of foundation does a hillside house in Kingston Springs need?
One engineered for the slope. Kingston Springs lots are steep and wooded, so we design the foundation around the grade, usually with a walk-out lower level, and add decks that step down the hill and retaining walls where the ground needs holding. Views are the point of those lots, so the plan is laid out to keep them.
Do you work on homes along the Harpeth River in Kingston Springs?
Yes, on the river and up the hillsides. Adding porches, decks and outdoor rooms to houses that are already there is a big part of our Kingston Springs work, and screened porches are among the most requested. Being on the Harpeth doesn’t change which office issues the permit; the town limit decides that.
How big a renovation will you take on in a Kingston Springs cottage?
Anything from a new kitchen or bath to the whole house. Renovating the older homes and cottages in the town center is the in-town side of our Kingston Springs work, next to the hillside builds. Once work starts, William sequences the crews and materials so no trade is left waiting on another.
